On the eve of my 11th birthday I hunted alone the first time Oct. 31, 1953. Coal oil lamp, 3 cell flashlight, horse rope for a lead, a trusty Winchester single shot rifle, and Tanner 1/2 B&T & 1/2 Walker. I've hunted every breed and owned alot of good hounds in my time. I've been hunting and breeding Black and Tan's since 1970. Check the Black and Tan yearbooks for the last 25 years because the most gratifying and satisfying accomplishments is the friends I've made and the success other B&T breeders have made using our stock in their breeding programs.

Tina- Graduated with honors University of Northern Iowa-she has a managerial job at a local Family Video store.
Tiffany - Graduated with honors from University of Nothern Iowa. Presently working for the state of Iowa in juvenile rehabilitation. She majored in psychology. Have you ever been analized by your own daughter - SCARY!!
Troy - Thank god he made it back from iraq in one piece but will carry scars for the rest of his life that many won't be able to relate to or understand! He has found a sweetheart named Rebecca
Sonya - She has now put up with me 33 years and still asks why almost every day!
Donnie - Fat, Old, Slow Moving, & Hard Hearing
Travis - Graduated with honors from Des Moines Medical School of Osteopathy. Starting a job in Chicago, Ill. Moved to a clinic at Ankeny, Iowa. It didn't take long in the big city to teach him that friends and family are the priorities in life.
Todd - Army Reserves MP - Special Forces Swat Team - Activated Twice -Now a deputy sheriff at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is engaged to a special lady Hanna, they will be married in Jul.
Tim - Owns his own Landscaping business at Wayland, Iowa - has lovely wife Kim & 2 sons Ty and Tanner.
